The Maverick Capital Foundation is dedicated to meaningfully improving lives by identifying, funding, and partnering with high-impact nonprofits serving those in need. We believe that combining financial support with hands-on engagement creates lasting impact—for the organizations we support, the communities they serve, and our own employees. Since 2001, Maverick Capital has furthered this mission by contributing 1% of all firm revenues to the Foundation, complemented by the generous contributions of our partners and employees.
Grant Portfolio
Since its founding, MCF has donated over $45 million to nonprofits in New York City, Dallas, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Florida. We are proud to support nearly 50 organizations working to help those in need. Our primary areas of interest include education, post secondary access & success, youth development, essential services, workforce development and criminal justice.
